History of the palace: In the early 17th century, the Małuszów estate came into the possession of the Abschatz family. It is likely that during this time, the original rectangular manor house was built. In the following century, Małuszów frequently changed owners, and through expansions, the manor took on a palatial architectural style with a horseshoe shape. At the end of the 17th century, it was acquired by Prince Ludwig of the Richtenhofen family, and later by Prince Ludwig of Hesse, who created a romantic garden around the palace. In the 19th century, a stone portico was added on the southern side, and in 1912 the western risalit was built.
